Creative Still Life in watercolours and mixed media- expressive and colourful stimulating approaches,
using collage, rollers, and colourful inks. We will accentuate patterns and textures, with touches of loose semi-abstraction,
using fruits, shells, ornaments and flowers etc - breaking many rules!!

Amazing Acrylics –exploring and experimenting with this versatile and magical media - with excellent tips on techniques
and tricks of the trade., creating stunning pictures of coastal and landscape scenes and flowers. Everything you need to know to create
atmosphere, textures and detail. Wet into wet, oil, and many more methods, will be covered.
April 11th & 12th 2012
Watercolour Secrets – capturing the essence of this beautiful and beguiling media, using loose flowing washes,
wet into wet, translucent colourful under-washes, gorgeous glazes, how to create atmosphere, and hints on colour mixing –
everything to help with your successful future work.

May 8th & 9th 2012
Experimental Flowers – pushing the normal boundaries. Adventurous winning ways with emphasis
on backgrounds, props and containers. Large scale flowers, close-ups, and garden studies will be
experimented with, using watercolours/acrylics ( your choice) with pastels, and touches of collage and bits added!
All helping to capture their texture, colour, and character. A world of possibilities.
Sept 4th & 5th 2012
Introducing people successfully into your pictures – solving the most common trouble spot in paintings,
with vital and challenging projects and suggestions on how, when, and where to place and insert them in your future work.
A must for anyone who needs help with this important subject.

Oct 2nd & 3rd 2012
Inspirational Coastal and Pastoral Landscapes – offering a wide range of fabulous views, including
rugged cliffs, skies over sweeping seascapes, estuaries, creeks with boats, using pen, line and wash with
watercolours….innovative final touches!
